I have been trying to access the AAD forum all day without success. I e-mailed Mr. Hamic and he graciously e-mailed me back saying Steve Foster (former admin for allarounddanville.com) made some changes today to their DNS settings - and now everyone is being re-directed to the incorrect server. I ask if it could be fixed and haven't got an answer yet.

I got a message back from Mr. Hamric. He said Mr. Foster was finally able to change the settings back - The DNS has started to work for him; however, it may take some time before we can see the changes. I am told it could take as long as 48 hours so I guess it's just a waiting game.

I can access the AAD forum but once I click on a thread the page comes up blank. I sure wish they could find the problem and fix it. This happens at least once a week!

I went to post my recipe for the day on AAD and all I got was blank! I sure hope they didn't shut down for good again. I have noticed some posts about the change of management. Lately it's been the most popular forum around and I like reading all the opinions. Even though I don't agree with all of them I always learn something from them. We will just have to wait and see.....................  |

He said he'd been making changes to the system, as well as entirely moving the forum to a different server - for performance and management reasons. He had hoped it would literally be a 10 minute deal, as he had prepared in advance; however, one slight oversight threw a wrench in his well-laid plans. He's currently waiting for the person who controls the DNS for the domain to change a single setting for it to point to the new server...until then he has to keep it offline. He is sorry for the inconvenience.

This was posted on the Main Forum today on AAD......At least this time they gave us a warning.......
We don't have as active debates as they did over there but I have invited people to join us.

This does not surprise me: the anti-government and the anti-semetic views were pretty rampant on the page, although I suspect it was do to comments directed at local politicans that brought them down.
