We had two graduations in the last two weeks. My grand daughters fiancee graduated last week  from college and my youngest grand daughter from high school yesterday. He was  offered a good job right away ,so he is already in the work force. Such happiness ,hopes and dreams that these young people shared with us. So many of the graduates going into the Armed Forces to try to help their country. Many striving for higher education to better them selves. I pray that they all fulfill their dreams, but it will be a struggle for them with the situation in the world as it is.I have so much admiration and respect for the parents that work so hard to give them their right to have a good life. I pray they will not fall into the so called fast lane and forget the goals that they set for themselves. So many young people have the option of education and a better life, but pass it up. We have to hope for the best for them and if they should ask us for advice and our wisdom that we have learned from our lives, be willing and happy to share with them. As I have told all of the young people in our family, we made mistakes and they will also. Just learn from them and press on.

Wise advice Joni.  Todays graduates need our prayers for their future because the world we are handing them isn't in such good shape.  We didn't have the worries they will have and it is my prayer that they will press forward and be able to repair the damage that has been done.  It will be a daunting task.

A wonderful Thanksgiving. With all the turmoil in the world, so nice to be with my children and grandchildren. A lot of work and tiring for me, but well worth it. We have so much to be thankful for this year. A new marriage for my grandson. A marriage for my grand daughter in 3 weeks.and then her graduation and start Inga a career as a teacher. And Blessings from our Lord. my youngest granddaughter since graduating from high school and starting college has just not been satisfied. She started attending a different church with an inspiring young minister. The Lord touched her heart and she is leaving Dec. 27th for Ecuador for internship in the Missionary field. She has been on several Missions trip and always said this touched her heart helping the less fortunate. While being so proud of her and her decision , we are concerned for her safety. It is not a very safe place, but she says God will be with her. So please keep her in your prayers for her safety and I will keep you updated on her experiences. Her name is Chelsea. Thank you all.
