I have finished laundry, finished packing, cleaned out my handbag, the car is gassed...guess we will leave in the morning after rush hour. I couldn't decide what to take so I kind of emptied my closet. I don't usually do that, but this is an unusual winter. Glad we bought gasoline in Missouri this morning. It was a CHEAP (?) $3.25/gal; when I drove home from beauty shop this evening, passing Casey's, it was $3.999 two miles from my house.

AND best of all, our baby Mason is back to himself except for a little bit of a stinky diaper fill. But that is getting better too. He was getting into everything and stealing Molly's things and pulling her hair.

The skies are blue, it's actually balmy and I'm headed for the pool!

Shawn is off tonight and was supposed to keep the baby overnight but he has a temp and went to Urgent Care.  It's the upper respiratory thing so he is on antibiotics and I have the baby.  The poor little guy is on an antibiotic, allergy meds, Ibuprofen, eye drops and Benedryl.  If for no other reason than being doped up, he should sleep.  Frankly, I won't be giving him anything but the eye drops and the antibiotic tomorrow to give him a chance to come down.......  undecided

I just came in to sit and relax for a spell after Karaoke night at the RV Park this evening.

My debut numbers were "End of the World"  "My Guy" and "These Boots were Made for Walkin"

Can't say I did well, but at least I gave it a try. I'm here to say that I would never have been invited to perform where Spiritman used to live. lol

Goodnight everyone.  smiley

But you can perform where I live now Veda!
It's cold again this morning. 32 degrees. But will be mid 60s later. Such a strange winter!

Good one Spiritman! Do you live in a community that does Karaoke or have a karaoke machine of your own?  Accapello is not my bag. Well, karaoke isn't either, but I'm working on it.  rolleyes

I just got back from the laundromat, pretty sweet when all the weeks laundry is complete in an hour and a half.  For once I had the place almost to myself.  Just one other woman and we sat and talked for most of the time.  She is from upper Michigan, and there are lots of RV people from Canada at this camp, probably more than half. EH.  smiley

It's around 70 degrees today and supposed to be in the mid 70's through next Tuesday.  I won't complain. Have a great weekend everyone.

It's suppose to be in the 50's here next week.  It was pretty nice today but has cooled off and I had to up the thermostat because George was cold.

I was up at 1:45 this morning washing the mattress pad.  George is in diapers full time but sprung a leak and I had to wash the bedding.  I refuse to let the house smell like urine so I washed the mattress pad.  I am calling the doctor Monday because his urinary incontinence has steadily increased over the past few days.  There has to be an explanation.  He runs to the bathroom constantly, and can't go, but his diaper is soaked.  I am worn out, not from caring for the baby, but from caring for George.

The baby slept all night, but I only had about 4 hours of sleep because of George.....

This was a tiring weekend.  Sylas is on so much medication, that he sleeps soundly.  I really don't like giving him all that medication, but he is on an Antibiotic for the ear infections (both ears), eye drops for Pink eye, Zertec for Allergies, and a form of Benedryl for a runny nose.  He ran a low grade temp all weekend so he was on Ibuprofen too.  Despite all those meds, the little guy managed to smile most of the time.

Lauren's grandmother had a doctor's appointment so Connor was here after he got out of pre-school.  I fixed his lunch and he watched a movie till his mom picked him and Sylas up at 3.

I had planned on cleaning house today....... so after they left, I cleaned the spare bedroom and bath, fixed supper and intend to clean the den, living room and dining room before bedtime so all I will have to do tomorrow is clean our room and bath and the kitchen.  I did manage to wash bedding today.

Things here are pretty much back to normal.....Jackson had let his balloons go on his birthday and they got stuck in my tree...so, he is reminded every day of all the birthday fun...because they are still there. I told him it was nice of him to share his balloons with the owl family.
Here is a picture of him blowing out the candles on his little birthday cake....

In the 70s today. If this continues, maybe I'll be able to get into my pants again. My waist seems to have expanded. I'm off to the pool to exercise.

It's in the mid 60's here today and sunny.  If it keeps this up, there will be no winter this year at all............which is fine with me.... Angel Halo

We got home a little bit ago, left last Thursday. I was reading to catch up. This website still rejects my cellphone internet access.

GA we were in Sikeston tonight. Got off the highway to get gasoline and turned left instead of right. Took us forever to find one and finally gave up looking for one on the right side of the road and went to Hucks. Gasoline is fifty cents a gallon less in Sikeston than it is here. We ate bar be que sandwiches at Dexters and it was okay except I don't eat bar b que sauce and it was all over the sandwich. I like dry pulled pork.

Long drive home, we left Toulouse Street in the French Quarter at 9:15 this morning.  I have a feeling #2 will call in the morning with one little girl wanting to stay here and maybe baby too.
