We must have a place to go to act silly and just plain have fun. I've created a McGregor's franchise, if you will. I don't think Mac would mind at all. You all know the rules, no politics in here, just kick back and have fun.

Listen, I don't have a lot of time right now to do all the great stuff Mac does on his thread. For now, everyone just help themselves to whatever they want, it's on the house ............................. ....................... Hey Pat !!!! Put the ladder back will ya !  I will be leaving Thursday for NC again for a few days, but hope to do some stuff when I get back. The best thing that could happen would be that Mac would decide to transfer his operation over here, cause nobody can do it like he can.......................... . OK !! I always liked Mac even though I didn't post much here. I enjoyed reading what he and others had to say. Still I suppose it would be hard to go against your brother, although in the same circumstances I would go against mine if he were spouting the same nonsense as Tuck. Maybe this is too political, but what is a pub without at least some talk of the real world.

Mac is a sweetheart and does so much for the underpriviledged in Danville. I invited him here, but haven't heard from him. I was thinking maybe he wouldn't want us to have another McGregor's since that's his baby, so if I hear from him and he doesn't like the idea, we'll change the name. I don't think anyone could do as good a job running the place as he does. He's probably more affected than anyone by our leaving the other forum. I'll try to keep this place going in the meantime, but I will be gone for a few days toward the end of the week. I can probably get on the computer at my son's house to see how things are going. You know Pesoto, it's like reading the funnies, you either do or you don't. I do, and I think everyone benefits from a good laugh. My sister made me laugh yesterday, with the roof and the gutter comment. That's what we need more of, the spontanious silliness ! Hey, say that ten times really fast !! |

I wanted to let everyone know that Mac will indeed be joining us here. I'm so glad (Phew, wiping the sweat off my forhead) We all know what an asset he is to any forum.
I would also like to let you know that the Tennyson that has just joined is my daughter-in-law Donna. She's a wonderful, sweet person who is also politically, right there with us, haha ! I'm sure she'll have fun on here and maybe be able to post some pictures of my beautiful grandchildren too. I'm glad she thinks this is a safe place to come and enjoy with us.

I am so happy to hear that Mac will be on board with us. I love to read his posts and he is such a good guy. It was difficult to leave the other site because of some of the wonderful friends we made there....... ....but, when it comes right down to it...blood is thicker than horsecrap (I believe that was the term that was used) Someone...please get me out of this gutter...or toss me a bottle of Ripple. |
