This is an experiment to see how much interest there is in the subject.  One idea I have is that we can use events or places as a topic and then share any memories we have.  I don't think there need be any limitations on where or when the events we talk about happened.

Gosh, I just happened to see this and it has just been offered. It sounds like to me that if you have any memories of any place at any time, here is a place to share. I won't do anything now except "think out loud". I could go more into those 1950's train trips to Atlanta, or the wonderful picnics at Kickapoo back then, or bike trips to Turkey Run,,,or it sounds like the "sky's the limit". (Need to get some licensed pilots on here to share some of those memories.) You all must have some thing along this line. Tell us something about your farthest travels or anything! All from Oliver--

Thanks Oliver, you caught what I was trying to say exactly.  I think we all have history to share.  One thing I have noticed in reading history is that often knowledge of events that where once commonplace are lost because no one at the time thought they were important enough to write down.  I think we all have our stories and I think it can be useful if we share what we have experience in life.
