In case you haven't heard of it Flickr is one of the best places to share your photos. It is also interesting to look at the pictures that others have taken. Flickr is a way to get your photos to the people who matter to you. With Flickr you can:

* Securely and privately show photos to your friends and family around the world
* You will have your own page to show off your photos

The latter is more appropriate, because most effects have their basis in the visual pathway, not in the optics of the eye. I selected these based on relative novelty and interactivity, and will expand the explanations when I find the time, to the degree that these phenomena are really understood.
