I didn't know you could leave a message until you did it on one of my blogs so I am returning the favor by coming into your domain and saying. KEEP UP THE PRATTLE . We love the dialog but sometimes I have to stop and say "Now what did he say or mean by that" Keeps my mind going. Later good buddy 10-4

Oliver, you can blog your heart away on here because we love it !! I don't know what I would do without my daily dose of "O" to get me in the right mood for another day. The Briarpatch was created as a safe place for those who don't care for the nit picking, bashing and generally unhappy people who want to drag you down with them. You can act as silly as you want and we'll just smile and say..... "That's our Oliver".... Don't even think about leaving........we know where you live...

Cutting back doesn't mean good-bye . . . right?
Just a breathing space from time to time, letting life's happenings with your family take the lead a little more.
I too will miss looking to see what fun topics have surfaced from your adventures through town or blasts from the past that truly stir up emotions in people on a daily basis, but I know that you are one who will ALWAYS be writing about something in your journals and will feel the need to pass those gems along to all of us once in a while. We'll be here anticipating those time.
You've truly put your mark on so many of us . . . and that's a good thing. You've shown us that life can have so many wonderful, hilarious and even imaginable moments if we only take the time to set aside bitter comments and accusations one to another and look for positive affirmations.
Thanks for bringing a spark of friendship, humor and kindness to all of us. I'd even go as far as to say you even brought more love into our lives. Love back to ya, Veda

Say it isn't so ? Now Oliver what you REALLY mean is your blogs may be shorter ? They will continue on a regular basis because that is what your true fans are demanding ! Cut back means just cutting the edges like you do with the pretty scissors in a scrapbooking event. Just think of all the little children in the world who go daily to read "Uncle Oliver" and he isn't there. They will run crying to their mothers who in helpless frustration cannot heal this wound. So, a depression will envelope the land and sad, sad faces will be seen on every street corner. So, in conclusion we all beg of you. Reconsider this decision. Stay, Oliver, Sit Oliver, Write Oliver.

Just keep on doing your thing Oliver. You are one of the most respected posters on AAD, the Briarpatch or the Guestbook.....

ED H. and MARCIA: Yes, the Guestbook can be more than a Girl Scout meeting, no offense. (I had kids in the scouts.) For instance, my impression is that the input on the proposed changes for the Danville traffic flow flowed along nicely without name-calling, or other rudeness such as telling others they should “shut up” and go away, etc.. It’s all just a matter of simple manners and courtesy and decency, qualities that now almost seem to be “gone with the wind.”

“Oliver’s _____” (FREE decoder books available- Guaranteed delivery by 12-24-2056)
While the cold weather is on hiatus, today’s discussion of the lost episode of “Trigger Tells Silver: Bring It ON!” deals with the political ramifications of a particular scene.
The horses have just finished fighting each other to a draw over Buttermilk’s affection. In a snorting and conciliatory manner, they decide to go to the “Equestrian Chowdown” for burgers. At one point, with nary a whinny muttered, they both refuse to eat their burgers due to suspicions that it indeed came from old Cousin Charley!
This was a significant political statement for its time. It became sort of an ‘esoteric template’ for many other horse flicks to follow..Comments? (Note: This is a “G” rated site. Thanks.) Regards,

The cold weather remains miserably absent. (55 deg. F. and sunny) In its place will be further discussion of the lost episode of “Trigger Tells Silver: Bring It ON!” Today we will hoof around Buttermilk’s blatant disregard for certain tenets of the social mores of that time, roughly 1950 B.C.
While Trigger and Silver were trading hoof-ti-cups and flies over blithe Buttercup, she was suddenly agog for a big black stallion that had trotted by outside on Hay Bag Avenue.. This horse, of course, was none other than “Toronadu”, who had just dumped Zorro for not having a paid up union card.
The tete-á-tete between But and Toro was considered scandalous at that time. There was great public consternation and outright disdain. Everyone from jockeys to disc jockeys joined in the inquietude. Eventually they polarized their sentiments around their emerging mane spokesman, Mr. Ed. Simply put, he decried her raising her tail like that on TV.
And while this is uproariously comical today, remember that back then it was simply NOT acceptable to horse around like that!! Regards,

TOM/ALVIN: Case in point: I do not see where Laurie82 has specifically picked on you, Tom, regarding random comments you have made. Can not you show the same common courtesy to her? You surely must have something more of substance than to comment (as though you were talking down to a child) “…..we know it is not you, you do not have to tell us, you are not the only Laurie in the world, please get over it.”

"Humility and inner peace go hand in hand." (R. Carlson, Ph.D.)
TOM/JOE,ALVIN: Why, I’ve not side-stepped “Tunisia’s” question what-so-ever. I think you’re tending to “flood the great GB” here with all those entries to me. If you need to continue the pettiness, send me a message via the AAD, BP, EDANVILLE, or ONLINEDANVILLE, or pick up the phone OR I’ll meet you, say, at Walmart, in the fruitcake section. (It IS the season, ya’ know.)
Parting thought from Richard Carlson, Ph.D.:“I encourage you to consider deeply and respect the fact that we are all very different.” Ain’t it duh troot? Regards,

Oliver, I just wanted to tell you that, I for one, appreciate your posting your Guestbook entries on The Briarpatch. Many days I don't make it to the Guestbook to read, especially since there is so much negative there now. Keep up the good work ! (where is that little kissing icon anyway?)
