I have one of the flashlights on my Christmas wish list.  I'm so tired of buying batteries and even more tired of needing a flashlight only to find out batteries are dead at a crucial moment!
That bird call thing looks like a winner for us birdwatchers.  Too many times I can hear them but can see them in the trees.
Looking at the snow shovel; wonder how you empty the shovel? Wouldn't want to pick up the whole thing to dump snow. Maybe just running up and down sidewalks will eventually scoop it all to the side.  If I can swing it, I'd like to get another snow blower.  Had one when I first moved to Indiana house but gave it to my daughter. Out there all I really had that it could be used on was small stoop and a couple steps.  Driveway was gravel and pulled right up to edge of front steps.  Warning - don't use a blower on gravel. LOL. I found out the hard way it will pick up gravel and throw it too!

This is a radio that can be charged by a hand crank.
Quote
The FR300 AM/FM radio with NOAA, TV and VHF provides you with radio, light, and cell phone battery life when you need it most. With the NOAA weather channels and TV/VHF channels, you can find weather forecasts or listen to TV shows. If your power goes out, don’t worry! You can even charge your cell phone from this self-powered unit. The Hand-Crank Power Generator charges the internal rechargeable Ni-MH battery pack—and just 90 seconds of cranking provides up to an hour of radio play. And, if you’re really in a fix, there’s a powerful 3 LED light system, a flashing red light and a siren, all designed to protect you from harm and keep you informed regardless of what the weather has in store for you, at home or on the road.

If you find that you want one of these the item is near the bottom of the page that the link takes you to.
Radio-controlled rat
Quote
Better than rubber vomit. More fun than a whoppee cushion. This radio-controlled rat moves forward, turns left, spins around, stares at you with red, glowing eyes. Dark-gray plastic, he's about 13" from his pointed little nose to the point of his tail. Works up to 50 feet from the wireless hand-held controller. Requires (3) "AA" batteries, (1) 9 volt battery and a kid 8 years or older, none of which are included.

Yesterday I got my flashlight that charges by being shook.  It works as advertised and is kinda amazing.

This is something that I hadn't seen before.
Egg & Muffin Toaster
Now you can make your favorite breakfast sandwiches in the comfort of your own home. In addition to being a full-functioning toaster, the Egg & Muffin Toaster can simultaneously: 1)toast the bread, 2)cook an egg (poached or steam-scrambled), and 3)warm a pre-cooked slice of ham or sausage - all in about 4 minutes.

Here is one for Christmas.  These are solar powered globe lights that you can hang outdoors.  They will be charged by the sun during the day and glow at night.

Saw something very similar - it was a hot dog cooker. There were places on each side for the bun to be warmed and a hold between the slots to put the weiner!  Not sure I'd take the time to drag it out rather than plop a hot dog in water on a cold bun and call it good. LOL.
Glad to hear the shaking flashlight works great.  That just seems like it would be a blessing the first time the power goes off and I'm searching for batteries in the dark!
