I saw this thing and decided to start this topic.  In case it isn't obvious it is a snow shovel.

I think it is fairly new.  I wonder if it is based on an old idea.

Concept could have come from the old "high wheel cultivator".

This is a pretty geeky thing.  It is an aquarium that is powered by being plugged into a usb port on your computer.

I remember seeing my grandpa Dreher using a cultivator like that when I was a small child.  He had a garden on the hill in back of his house on McKinley Avenue.....oh, the memories.... smiley

My grandson has two or three of those multi tools laying around.  They are pretty handy.

I have one of these.  Place a head of cabbage in the square and slide it back and forth for shredding the cabbage. The main tool used for making Kraut.  smiley

I ordered one of these the other day. It is a flashlight that doesn't need batteries.  You charge it by shaking it for 30 seconds before you turn it on.  After that you will have light for 20 minutes.  It is supposed to last for years.

Someone brought one of those flashlights to the Wednesday night supper last week.  They were all fascinated with it.  It was a smaller one the the one pictured and would fit in a womans purse.  Several were going to buy one because of its convenience.....

I'm looking forward to getting it.  I like to walk outside this time of year after dark and a flashlight like this will come in handy.  I won't have to find batteries or remember to plug it in.

Now here is something I would never have thought of.  It is a thing that you can point toward the sound of a bird call and it will help you identify the type of bird that made it.

With winter coming it might be time to take a look at one of these.  It is called the Ice Dozer and is supposed to be the most powerful windshield scraper ever.
