12 years ago today we got that awful phone call from our grandson Shiloh telling us that Anne had died during the night.  I still remember the pain and sorrow as if it were yesterday.  Over the years coping has become easier and the good memories have erased the bad.  She tiptoes across my mind frequently leaving her footprints on my heart.  I miss you Anne and love you still.

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,
I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart.

A thousand words won't bring you back I know because I've tried, neither will a million tears I know because i've cried. In loving memory of my mother, Mary Lillian (Dreher) Starkey December 13, 1916 - April 10, 2001.  Miss you mom.

From the opium of custom...To the ledges of extremes..Don't believe it till you've held it..Life is seldom what it seems..But lay your heart upon the table..And in the shuffling of dreams..Remember who on earth you are.
