I wasn't certain where to put prayer requests.  After some thought I decided to put it here under the Wisdom title......

My first prayer request is for Mac.  He is having some difficulty with pain.  I think we all need to say a prayer that it is nothing serious and that it can be resolved quickly......

Angel Mac Angel  I am surrounding you with angels.

Please add my co worker Ed to your prayer list.  Found out this afternoon he had a heart attack.  He is scheduled for open heart surgery Tuesday, but the doctor said the major battle is making it till Tuesday.   cry

Sorry to hear that Angel.  I am headed over to Guideposts now and will put Ed on there too.  At 9:45 tomorrow morning people from all over the world will be praying for him and Mac.

My aunt Charlotte could use some prayers.  She is back in the hospital again as a result of emphysema.  As of yesterday she wasn't doing so well.

Update on Ed....

He had open heart surgery yesterday.  From what I have heard, he came through surgery fine, which is half the battle right there.  Today they think he has a respitory infection.  He still needs everyone's prayers.   Angel

Hey Angel, we will pray him through.  He needs to know there are people praying for him.  Tell him, it helps promote a positive attitude.

While reading another message board I saw where our friend INOU's 25-year-old daughter has been dx with ovarian cancer. I am thinking INOU and her family would welcome our prayers for their family. INOU we are thinking about you!

I just read elefans post on another thread about the Gray family.  I am adding them to my prayer list and hoping that others will too.  If only small town minds knew the damage they can do to innocent people....I pray that God will wrap this family in his arms and protect them from what lies ahead......

What a great thread.  GA..I love Guideposts!!  My aunt got me a subscription every year for what seemed like forever!  The stories are awesome!  I really miss that magazine.

Prayers are going up for all the above-mentioned.

I subscribe to Guideposts, Daily Guideposts and Angels on Earth.  I cannot put the Guidepost or Angels on Earth down until I have read the whole magazine.  I read the Daily Guidepost each morning with my Bible lesson.  It's a great way to start the day.  I also subscribe to their Someone Cares Greeting Cards and send them when ever possible.  They are great cards at a reasonable price and each has a Guidepost story on the back of the card.

My Mother-In-Law is in a nursing home here in Texas and she is on the last leg of her journey here on earth. She wants to go and be with her husband, who passed away 2 years ago...she will be 89 next May...but she doesn't want to be here. If you pray for her...pray that her journey is a peaceful one and that she and Alvin are reunited soon. Hospice is caring for her and trying to make her last days comfortable. For her sake, I hope she gets her wish.
